Dear Students,

On 12th September 2011 Monday ,we began the education with a ceremony held  with the participation of Dear Sukru Genc, a member of ITU Alumni association and Mayor of Sariyer, Dear Erol Bilecik, the Chairman of the Board of Kulturel Inc. Co., Selcuk Dereci, the manager of the Dr. Natuk Birkan Primary School, Aybars Sehirtay, the manager of Beylerbeyi Kindergarten and Primary School, Arzu Guven, the manager of Kulturel Inc. Co., Yener Ozcumali, the Operation Manager of Kulturel Inc. Co., our graduates and the parents. Our school is proud to be the school  which  everyone appreciates .We can proudly say that “It’s the center of modern education” while it begins the 7th educational term. Our academic calendar beginning on 12th September 2011 will end on 15th June 2011, Friday.

Our school provides our students’ balanced and healthy development with a psychological, mental and physical integrity by being sensitive to the principles and revolutions of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and to the values of our secular, democratic and modern Republic.

Our successful journey has been going on since 2005 when we began education. Most of our 96 students who graduated in 2009 and 2010 have got into the programs that they preferred. The rate to get into a university is 97% in a period of three years. We made the “From mother’s bosom to ITU” objective of Dear Prof. Dr. Gulsun Saglamer, founder of our schools, real once again this year. In the coming years, the count of our students who reached this objective will go on with an increase. I wish success for all of our graduates in their new education lives.

I celebrate all of our preparatory  students for the 100% success in the 2010-2011 Cambridge ESOL PET (Preliminary English Test) that they participated on 06.05.2011.  55% of our students who participated in the PET exam deserved to get a “pass with merit” certificate and 45% of them deserved the “achievement” certificate. The OSYM studies are provided in coordination with our assessment, evaluation and guiding service. The sixty class hours of OSYS preparation studies performed in June 2011 will be completed by supplementing with the YGS-LYS courses on weekdays. The OSYS studies will be continued by providing a coordination of Assistant Manager Halil Dogru, Counsellor Ozlem Turkaslan and the Assessment and Evaluation Specialist Sema Contay Capar.

The office hour application that we do on weekdays and the free mathematics and science courses for all mid-classes on Saturdays will go on as we did last year. The learning deficiencies on the weekdays in maths and science for various excuses will be compensated with this course program and it will be provided for our students to start a new week much more prepared

The Project and Olympics studies are carried out in the guidance of our mentor teachers. Our students will be kept being supported with the system of coaching. On every Thursday, our students will carry on their hobby ad social responsibility works in fifteen different clubs

The project with the subject of “Examination for Whether the Sound Waves With Different Lengths Have Bactericidal Effect Over Various Bactery Strains Existing in Water” prepared by 9th grader Ege Sahin with the guidance of our biology teacher Berrin Asar won an honor prize on the branch of research articles in “The First Step to Nobel Prize” competition from the biophysics project Warsaw-Poland Sciences Academy. The certificate of achievement is given to our student by Dear Sukru Genc, the Mayor of Sariyer

We began the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) that we got the accreditation in 2010. While 11th grade students are accepted for the last time, a considerable number of 10th grade students are accepted to the IB Diploma Program

Dear students, we are with you while you are getting prepared for  life and university with our 43 precious  and   well-experienced teachers.  We have no doubts that you will perform your academic responsibilities without delaying and with the support of your teachers and administrators. Bright and successful days are waiting for you in our school that the love and respect  took its roots
